This reprint of Death of a Transvestite was written by Ed Wood, Jr., actor, writer and director of such films as Glenn or Glenda. He was immortalized in the Tim Burton film titled Ed Wood which detailed the making of several of Wood's iconic sexploitation films. With this "novel" Wood poses as documentarian with the disclaimer that "the literary matter contained in this book has been founded upon extensive research of the subject matter by the author, and in some instances, has been fictionalized to provide better reading entertainment."
